The CMPS03 Magnetic Compass Module has been specifically designed as a robot navigation aid.
This module can easily be connected to many popular microcontroller's via the I2C bus.
The
compass uses two Philips KMZ10A magnetic field sensors that are
sensitive enough to detect the Earths magnetic field. The module
generates a number that indicates the bearing of the robot in relation
to the local magnetic field. This number can then be read by the
microcontroller.
